Host an Event
Host your next special event, meeting, retreat, or party at The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design! This exclusive venue is located on Richmond’s historic Monument Avenue. Our refined interior spaces and elegant garden can be arranged to accommodate a variety of events from sophisticated cocktail parties, to intimate bridal luncheons, to day-long corporate retreats. Our rental program helps to support our operations and educational programming while increasing awareness of our mission in the community. Non-profit rates are available.
The Branch offers flexible set-up times, kitchen access for caterers, and can be used for both day and evening events. The Branch is an operational museum housed in a historic building. The protection of the space and exhibitions are a primary consideration. Exhibitions are left intact during all events.
Great Hall and Long Gallery
These dramatic and versatile gallery spaces are the perfect venue for celebrating special occasions or planning extraordinary corporate events. Designed with entertaining in mind, this adaptable space can be set up to accommodate workshops, lectures, receptions, or special events. The adjacent catering kitchen makes this a perfect place for casual parties, formal dining or intimate weddings. The Social Gallery can accommodate 35 seated lecture-style, 30 workshop-style, or 50 at banquet rounds.
The secluded simplicity of our walled garden is the ideal setting for outdoor events. From reunion picnics to tented weddings, the garden can accommodate a crowd while still evoking a sense of intimacy and privacy.
