Henry Ayon, local architect and author of Egyptian Places, will share his commentary and stunning illustrations from his exploration of 12 ancient sacred sites, as well as his insights on the art of drawing and sketching by hand in the architectural profession.

Henry David Ayon, author of Egyptian Places
Henry David Ayon practices architecture in Richmond, Virginia and is a former Adjunct Faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University where he taught Design and Drawing. A graduate of the University of Texas School of Architecture, he also holds a Master’s Degree in the Science of Historic Preservation from Columbia University in the City of New York. Mr. Ayon’s professional experience includes work in the offices of I. M. Pei and Gwathmey Siegal in New York City and Roche Dinkeloo in Connecticut.
