A chic dealer in “outsider” art travels from Chicago to rural North Carolina to meet her new in-laws, challenging the equilibrium of their middle class Southern home. For his sincere and meditative first feature, Phil Morrison returned to his hometown to film, cautiously exploring how much our roots really effect us and themes of “home vs. other”.
