Critical Regionalism in Landscape: Connecting Gillette to Present Practice

April 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Tickets for this upcoming event will be available for purchase starting Thursday, April 10th.

Join us on Thursday, April 24th at 6pm for an insightful lecture with Warren Byrd. Through his presentation, Byrd will connect the timeless work of Charles Gillette to current practices in landscape architecture.

By placing Gillette in historical context, Byrd will demonstrate the link between past and present landscape architects, illustrating the lasting impact of Gillette’s legacy. He will also discuss how this legacy informs today’s design approaches—highlighting what we should continue to embrace and what areas require evolution. Additionally, Byrd will showcase recent landscape architectural projects, focusing on the contemporary directions in design, particularly through the work of NBW.

Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with the past while envisioning the future of landscape architecture!
