3rd Annual Intersecting History: Museum Crawl

The Branch is excited to participate in Initiatives of Changes USA’s 3rd annual Intersecting History Museum Crawl and Conversation. It begins with a community conversation on January 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the VMHC from and continues on January 28th with the museum crawl from noon to 5 p.m.!

This year’s theme is “Yes, She Can!” Participants will be able to visit 7 area museums free of charge, experience the stories of Virginia women, especially women of color, explore exhibitions, and gain a better understanding of our city’s history. Charter buses will offer rides between museums at no cost, thanks in part to sponsorship from Richmond Region Tourism.

Visitors can see the current exhibition of view at The Branch, Women’s Rights are Human Rights, an international poster show focusing on gender-based inequality, violence, and discrimination.
