Convergence: A Demonstration with Sanford Kogan

Join us for a seated demonstration with Becoming artist Sanford Kogan, followed by a gallery walkthrough and an audience Q&A. Central to Kogan’s work is something we encounter every day but rarely stop to consider: light. During the demonstration, he will show how light changes as it moves through and across different materials, altering the way we see color and form. He will also discuss how LED technology allows him to use light not simply to illuminate his sculptures, but as a material within the work itself.
