SUMMARY:Undeniable: The Designs of Christian Siriano + Ashley Longshore
DESCRIPTION:The Branch Museum of Design and VCUarts proudly present Undeniable: The Designs of Christian Siriano + Ashley Longshore – on view January 17 – March 22\, 2026. \nSiriano is one of America’s most celebrated designers. From red carpets to the White House\, his inclusive vision has dressed acclaimed actors\, top models\, and pop culture icons – redefining glamour through diversity and body positivity. Longshore has paved a colorful path for pop art and fashion to coexist. Through her art\, she challenges conventions and champions individuality. \nIn Undeniable\, Siriano’s red-carpet designs appear in an immersive runway that channels awards-night glamour. Longshore’s paintings placed in conversation with his iconic looks highlight how art and fashion shape cultural influence. \nTogether they show how fashion and art can change how we see ourselves and the world. \nSee Full Exhibition Details Here \n  \n

SUMMARY:MAKER'S STUDIO - Agnes Grochulska's Seeing Differently: Drawing What You Actually See
DESCRIPTION:In this hands-on\, artist-led workshop\, participants will explore powerful visual exercises that shift the brain from habitual\, symbolic thinking to true observation. Through guided drawing activities\, short demonstrations\, and moments of reflection\, you’ll learn to quiet analytical judgment and strengthen the perceptual skills that lead to more accurate\, confident drawing. \nRather than focusing on style or perfection\, this workshop trains the foundations of realistic seeing: edges\, negative space\, proportion\, light and shadow\, and how the whole image fits together. These skills benefit anyone who wants to draw more realistically — whether you’re picking up a pencil for the first time or refining an existing practice. \nTickets ($75) include drawing materials\, wine & light refreshments. \nGet tickets here.

SUMMARY:TORTURETWINN - Live at the Branch
DESCRIPTION:TORTURETWINN was born out of a detached two-car garage in a back alleyway of Carytown in Richmond\, VA. It was here that Andrew Devin Georgieff lived and began writing his debut album\, ‘BLOOD LOVE’ back in 2019. After quitting his corporate job of five years and selling his house to dedicate his life to music\, Andrew Devin released BLOOD LOVE on April 18\, 2025. A review from Alice Teeple of Post-Punk.com states\, ‘BLOOD LOVE spills forth like a clandestine confession whispered over late-night diner coffee. It’s raw yet polished\, drawing generously from the sepia-tinted sounds of ’80s pop-rock titans like Bruce Springsteen and Tears For Fears.’ \nListen to TORTURETWINN on Spotify here. Check out the recording process below and learn more at torturetwinn.com \nLive at the Branch is sponsored by The E. Rhodes and Leona B. Carpenter Foundation. \nGet Tickets Here!
