William B. Obrochta, Executive Director, Beth Ahabah Museum & Archives

Bill Obrochta is the executive director of the Beth Ahabah Museum and Archives. Before that, he worked as a teacher, archivist, and museum educator, spending most of his career as director of education at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture.

Rick Holtz, Owner & President, H.J. Holtz & Son                   

 

Richard L. Holtz, Jr. joined his father and grandfather’s business in 1994, Rick has been vital in the growth and modernization of H.J. Holtz & Son, Inc. Now President, he has been instrumental in initiating relationships with contractors not only in the Richmond area, but in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, Williamsburg, and Tappahannock, VA to name a few.

Jay Woodburn AIA, LEED AP BD+C, Principal Architect, Baskervill

Known for his easy-going charisma, principal Jay Woodburn, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is a self-proclaimed technical architect who loves the nuts and bolts of design. For Jay, the joy in design comes from seeing a process through from start to finish. In his 20 years with the firm, Jay has become the go-to project executive for large, fast-paced projects where close teamwork and collaboration are essential, as well as highly technical adaptive reuse projects.

Rabbi Scott Nagel, Senior Rabbi, Congregation Beth Ahabah 

With a passion for Judaism, fueled at an early age by Reform Judaism’s youth and camping programs, Scott Nagel first dreamed of becoming a rabbi, while attending high school in Ocean Township, New Jersey. His appetite for engineering and aptitude for science and math. Rabbi Nagel was selected as one of 20 young rabbis in the U.S., across all denominations, to participate in the STAR PEER (Synagogue Transformation and Renewal – Professional Education for Excellence in Rabbis) program, which trains Rabbis to excel as executives, change-managers, and growth agents.
